About

This site debuted in March 2010 as a companion to the eleventh IMLS WebWise conference held in Denver, Colorado, which was co-sponsored by the University of Denver Penrose Library and the Library and Information Science Program. At that time, students involved in an LIS class, coordinated by Dr. Denise Anthony, Dr. Shimelis Assefa, and Dr. Mary Stansbury, chair of the LIS program, conducted six interviews, edited them for sound and visual quality as well as created clips on selected topics and built a website that was featured at the 2010 WebWise Conference. The remaining interviews were recently added and the website updated by students in the DU LIS program with the technical support and guidance of employees of the DU Penrose library. The Institute of Museum and Library Services provided funding for this second phase of the project, for which we are grateful. It has been an exciting and fun educational adventure for everyone involved but the project has ended. We will not be conducting and adding more interviews to the site.
